Accommodations

Simple, practical lodging for groups serving in Baja.

Door of Faith has three bunk-house style campgrounds and guest-house options for overnight groups. Space fills quickly, so all accommodations must be scheduled in advance.

Door of Faith campground buildings and covered walkway decorated with lights at nightThree separate campground areas give visiting teams a practical place to stay, gather, cook, and prepare to serve.
Current rate

$20 per person, per night.

The former website listed a $50 nightly minimum. Nate confirmed that minimum is no longer used and should be removed.

What the lodging fee supports

Campground and guest-house payments help offset maintenance, electricity, water, and the broader cost of supporting the orphanage family, including food and education.

Groups paying lodging online should select the campground or guest-house designation in the current giving portal so the payment can be identified correctly.

Three separate spaces

Lower, middle, and upper campgrounds.

The names describe their location by elevation. All three provide the same basic style of accommodation, while the building layout and group capacity vary.

Lower campground

A separate bunk-house area

Designed for groups whose size and schedule fit the lower portion of the property. Your host will confirm the exact sleeping arrangement and facilities assigned to your team.

Middle campground

A flexible group space

Another distinct campground with bunk rooms, kitchen access, bathrooms, and gathering space. Capacity depends on the final room arrangement.

Upper campground

The largest campground

The upper campground is the largest space and sleeps approximately 80 people. Its kitchen layout differs somewhat from the other campgrounds.

Proceeds from catering help local church congregations. The ministry can also recommend nearby restaurants and taco stands.
